No tracking in Matins

The current Matins release does not include advertising identifiers, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or a Matins account system.

What stays local

Alarms, alarm profiles, wake sounds, dream journal entries, sleep summaries, settings, generated insights, and app preferences are stored on your device or in the local app group used by Matins, widgets, and Apple Watch support. Matins does not transmit those records to a Matins server.

HealthKit

With your permission, Matins reads Apple Health sleep data to support Smart Wake windows and sleep insights. The app does not request Apple Health write access in this release. Health data is not sold and is not sent to advertising networks.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions are processed by Apple through StoreKit. Matins uses StoreKit entitlement state to unlock paid features; Apple handles purchase and account processing under Apple's terms.

Notifications, widgets, and Watch

Alarm notifications, widgets, and Apple Watch support use local scheduling and shared local app-group storage. They do not create a tracking profile.

Public website

This public website does not include analytics scripts, pixels, cookie banners, or embedded trackers. If that changes, this note, the Privacy Policy, App Store privacy disclosures, and release gates must be updated before shipping.
